Summer Romance

For my daughter’s birthday card, I was inspired by the Sunday Stamps photo inspiration/color challenge (shown in the picture below). I used Uniko Flower Power #2 stamp set for the flowers and colored them with Copics. The leaves are were die cut with Spellbinders Foliage die, the sentiment is from Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Our Favorite Font Sentiments. I also used My Favorite Things Pierced Circle die to cut a circle from one of my gel plate print (the large blue circle). The embossing folder is from Sissix. I used some Stickles for the flower centers.

A World of Wishes

Ahhh-masculine cards…where do I start? I love the background stamp Let’s Be Off from Unity stamps so I stamped it with Versafine Clair Pinecone ink on Kraft card stock. I decided that the Simon Says Stamp Earth die cut would look good with the background, but then struggled with a sentiment. In rifling through my sentiment dies, I found the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Wishes Circle and decided that it could go on the earth without obstructing it too much. I went with Simon Says Stamp Holographic card stock to cut the sentiment. I have had both dies for more than a year and have never used either, so NBUS!
