Vellum Flowers

I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Schaumburg, IL this year and took a class called Delicate Vellum Floral Shaped Cards by Heartfelt Creations. It was nice to be (safely) among other crafters again. The card was designed by Heartfelt Creations. We used Tulip Time Stamps and dies for the vellum flowers, Leafy Accents stamps and dies and Special Birthday Sentiments set for the sentiment. The flowers had been stamped with embossing ink, sprinkled with white embossing powder and heat embossed. Then we used several shades of orange/coral ink to blend on the flowers. We used Heartfelt Creations 3-D Shaping molds to shape the flowers and leaves. The leaves were stamped with green ink on white card stock, die cut, then ink blended to color the leaves. The card base and top layers had been die cut using Heartfelt Creations Booklet Basics die. The Booklet Frames die set was used for the bottom decorative layer. We added green prills and glitter to the flower centers. I learned how to heat emboss on vellum flowers and use ink to give a translucent color. Thanks to Heartfelt Creations for a great class.

I’d like to enter this in the following challenges:
