Tee-rific

This is for one of my son-in-laws who loves golf.

The golfing dies and sentiment stamp are from Gina Marie Designs.

The grass die is from Divinity Designs.

I cut some cloud stencils from a plastic sleeve and ink blended the clouds using Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink.

Animal Party

I usually don’t make scenes like this, but my granddaughter turned 1 year old and I wanted to make something fun for her. Once stamped, I colored the images from MFT Party Animals (NBUS) with Copics. I made my own cloud stencil out of some heavier plastic sleeves & used Distress Oxide in Mermaid Lagoon to ink blend the clouds. The grass is leftover material from a quilt. I don’t have the dies that go with the stamp set so I fussy cut all of the images out. I forgot how tedious it is!

I’m hopefully getting this linked to The 2020 Fall/Winter Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop in time for the Flash Prize drawing today. Thanks to Amy and all the CLC team for organizing this huge hop. I used products from 2 Super Sponsors:

Festive Noel

I finally got something put together to link up to the 2020 Fall/Winter Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop. I was pretty proud of myself that I used 3 Super Sponsors’ products:

The mug card was die cut using Trinity Stamps Coffee Mug Card die. It is 4 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches wide and will fit in an A2 envelope. The set comes with a gift card holder die that you could make, and put on the inside of the card.

The stencil and the “Noel” word die are both from STAMPlorations. The STAMPlorations Christmas Tree 1 stencil used with Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide ink. The word Noel was die cut from STAMPlorations Christmas Sentiments Phrase dies, 1 from some gold shimmer paper and twice from some white card stock. I stacked the gold on top of the 2 white layers for some dimension.

The poinsettia was die cut with some Red Glitter cardstock and some regular cardstock. It is from Divinity Designs-Peaceful Poinsettia set.

I colored the coffee in the mug with Copics and then added some Glossy Accents over it to look like coffee.

Ahhh-retirement!

My very good friend and Med-tech instructor retired yesterday. It was so bittersweet. I will miss her so much-both as a friend that I saw and worked with 3-4 days per week, as well as a mentor and resource in many areas of our laboratory. But she left at the perfect time-we will be implementing a new laboratory computer software program in December and it’s a huge challenge, partly since we haven’t had enough training and practice time. So, we are all happy for her.

This is the card that I made for her. The marble background stamp, the floral stamp and the sentiment are Hero Arts. I water colored the flower with Zigs & some white Wink of Stella. I used a fine tip black Sharpie pen to trace the floral image after coloring. The stitched banner sentiment strips are from My Creative Time.
