Double tagged

I love the shape of these Nesting Luggage tags cut with these dies. I used a Crafter’s Companion embossing folder that came with my Gemini Junior (won from a Pretty Pink Posh You Tube) to dry emboss a piece of black card stock. I then rubbed some Creative Expressions Glitter Kiss over the entire piece, giving some nice sparkle. I used the Luggage tag dies to cut the larger tag from a thin piece of cardboard and also from the black embossed panel and glued them together. I cut a smaller tag from Neenah solar white and used the smaller bird silhouette stamp from STAMPlorations For the Birds Stamp set to stamp the image at an angle with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and quickly sprinkled some Wow Superfine clear embossing powder over it for some shine. I used the same ink for the sentiments, adding the Clear embossing powder to “Thank you”. I used some Glue Dots to slightly pop the white tag up and adhered it at an angle so that the sentiments would be straight. The vellum sentiment banner was wrapped around the tags and secured with Glue Dots. I used Ranger Enamel Accents in Black to add a few enamel dots.

Bee kind

I put this tag together about a month or so ago using some up cycled packaging and  STAMPlorations ATC Tag Builder dies. I used STAMPlorations Leaf Prints Mini Stencil to add some Heidi Swap Gold Texture paste leaves.
This sat on my craft table for several weeks. I couldn’t figure out what else to do with it. I received a birthday gift code to use at Benzie Design Wool Felt shop to use on any of their Felt-fetti collection.
Who can’t use felt flowers on their cards or scrapbook pages? Once I received them (along with some pretty 9 x 12” wool felt sheets that I want to try die cutting), I thought they’d be a nice contrast to tone down the shiny gold leaves a bit. I used some brads from my stash to attach them to the tag. The little bee and the sentiment are from Joy Clair Bee Kind Stamp set. The gold elastic “ribbon” is recycled from a gift. I used my Simon Says Stamp Stitched Inside and Outside Rectangle die to cut a panel from Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Spring Paper pad and mounted everything on a kraft card base.

Hero Arts Floral Birthday

I am coming in at the last minute for this entry in Hero Arts Monthly Challenge-July Birthday Cards.
I used a piece of a marbled background stamped and heat embossed for dimension with Hero Arts Marble Bold Prints stamp. I add a strip of black card stock along the outer edge for contrast. I then stamped the Hero Arts Rose Stem falling off of the edge/corner and colored it with Copics. The sentiment is from Hero Arts Birthday Hugs and Kisses.  A few Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh add just enough sparkle for interest.

Flower crazy

I’ve been wanting to try more coloring with pencil, especially on kraft or darker cardstock.
It definitely takes me longer to get nice shading with my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils than it does with Copics. I added a few touches of sparkle with Clear Wink of Stella, but it’s hard to see in the picture. I used a STAMPlorations Celebrate Big die and cut it with a piece of recycled mail and again with black card stock. I glued them together, slightly offset so just a bit of the white showed. through. I mounted this floral panel which was a freebie from this STAMPlorations link up post celebrating National Coloring Book Day, which I am linking this to.
