Flowers for a friend

I made this a couple weeks ago for a friend whose father past away. I lost my father several years ago and it's hard, no matter how old they or you are.
I haven't had much time to craft. We've been coping with complications from my dear hub's hip surgery. A nerve was pinched, compressed or nicked which has left him with varying degrees of numbness, tingling and sharp shooting pains below his knee. I am spending most of my extra time going to physical therapy, doctors appointments, monitoring medicines and being an optimist.
Anyway, I'm linking this up with Unity Stamp Co.-Friends with Flair. Hi friends!

Now about friendship. Julie and I met on a crafty website a couple years ago. I was drawn to her sweet, compassionate personality, eagerness to help or ask for help and her love for dogs. I would like to meet her in real life, but the miles, our jobs and family commitments have always prevailed. I know that we will meet at some point, since we are both in the Midwest states. For now, here is a card to celebrate our friendship, because Julie has made a difference in my life! I hope this spring card warms everyone up!  My supply list is at the bottom of this post if you want to see it.
Otherwise, remember to comment on each blog.

Your next stop is Corrie's Blog.

I'm linking this to Unity's Friends with Flair. There is also a fun Challenge over at 3 Girl Jam Challenge Blog. I'm linked up! That's where my ribbon is from. They also carry lace, flair, burlap ribbon and muslin bags.
