A Trick or Treat bag

Here's one more Halloween project. I wanted to decorate a treat bag for my grandson. Lately, he has been fascinated by spiders. I found the spider web paper in the 6x6 pad of Echo Park Apothacary Emporium and fussy cut it out. I cut the bats from paper in the My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting collection. The spiders were from an EK Success/Jolees Boutique sticker collection. The pom poms and wiggly eyes were from my stash. I used Tombow Mono Aqua adhesive and some mini Glue Dots to put it all together. The sentiments are from Hero Arts Ghostly Greetings set. I used some Ranger Glossy Accents to cover the bats and to highlight parts of the spider webs.

You can see in the close-up how the Glossy Accents adds that shine so it looks more like a real web.
Happy Halloween!

I needed a card to send a Treat to my youngest daughter at college.
I grabbed my 6x6 pad of Echo Park Apothecary Emporium, a spider and spider web sticker by EK Success Jolees Boutique, stamps from the Hero Arts Ghostly Greetings set, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, some google eyes from my stash, Halloween Pom poms in the dollar bin at Joanns, Glue Dots, Tombow Mono Aqua adhesive and my Scotch ATG adhesive gun and threw this card together. I stamped and fussy cut as best I could the little witch that's flying into the spider web-I thought it was kind of funny!

This is the sketch I used

Queen Bee

Happy Friday! Not much time to chat...had to finish making this card when I got home from work, crank out a crock pot full of meatballs and head over to a friend's surprise 50th birthday party. It was outside by a bonfire and it's about 40 degrees (F) and very windy here!

I took a 6x6 pad of American Crafts Lucky Charm and picked the multi color chevron paper, an ombre tag from AC Dear Lizzy collection, a wood veneer tag from Amy Tangerine, some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the All Hail the Queen Bee Stamp of the Week by Unity Stamp Co., honeycomb chipboard from UmWow Studio, Teresa Collins Family Stories enamel dots, jute twine from my junk drawer and washi tape from my stash.
I used the sketch from Scrap Warriors Advanced Training (SWAT), but changed it a bit for my card.

I used this sketch, but I did modify it a bit. I couldn't cover up my oval (which is the circle stretched out!) so I had to put the banner underneath.
