This week, the challenge at
Our Daily Bread Designs blogspot was to have a border on your project, which was kind of challenging to do on this masculine card. Guys don't usually like lace and frill!
I am also entering this card for this week's challenge over at
Seize the Birthday card challenge blog. This week's challenge was to make a masculine card using this sketch
I decided to flip my card to fit my stamped image better.
This was my first time using this stamp, so maybe with more practice, my coloring will improve. I did try coloring another of these images with Copics/MEXPYs, but it was too much color for the image. I like the water color pencils better for this kind of image.
Prodcuts used: Our Daily Bread Designs stamp set Keep Climbing, Unity stamp set Favorite Sentiments/Jillibean Soup, Basic Grey 6x6 Pyrus collection, Staedtler water color pencils, Brown jute Ribbon Carousel, Recollections Chestnut ink, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain and fancy scissors for the border.
