Play Date Cafe, Cropchocolate.com, and Unity FWF

Here is my card for a couple of challenges. I used a sketch from Repeat Impressions' What if Wednesday Sketch (I missed their deadline, but used the sketch anyway),

I used this color challenge from The Play Date Cafe

Plum, mustard and rose

and I took the weekly challenge at Cropchocolate.com, which was to use the color pink, 1 or more flowers and bling.

Remember, I am a beginner with the Copics/Mepxy markers. Plus, I didn't use the really good card stock for the image-I seem to keep forgetting that small detail! My colors did bleed a bit. I just have to keep practicing :)
I will enter this in Unity Stamp Co.'s Friends with Flair weekly challenge, since the image/sentiment is from their Stamp of the Week Club.

Our Daily Bread and Seize the Birthday Challenges

This week, the challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs blogspot was to have a border on your project, which was kind of challenging to do on this masculine card. Guys don't usually like lace and frill!
I am also entering this card for this week's challenge over at Seize the Birthday card challenge blog. This week's challenge was to make a masculine card using this sketch

I decided to flip my card to fit my stamped image better.

This was my first time using this stamp, so maybe with more practice, my coloring will improve. I did try coloring another of these images with Copics/MEXPYs, but it was too much color for the image. I like the water color pencils better for this kind of image.

Prodcuts used: Our Daily Bread Designs stamp set Keep Climbing, Unity stamp set Favorite Sentiments/Jillibean Soup, Basic Grey 6x6 Pyrus collection, Staedtler water color pencils, Brown jute Ribbon Carousel, Recollections Chestnut ink, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut Stain and fancy scissors for the border.
